The Passenger is born from an encounter on a morning train, where her gaze captivated me. Looking into the distance, she appeared connected, yet detached from others aboard the train. Her memory lingers, a sporadic visitor in my thoughts, tethered to a moment frozen in the past — a transient crossing of two universes by the force of entropy.

My creative process thrives on spontaneity. Having immigrated and lived in Los Angeles since 2002, I am deeply intrigued by the intricate layers of cultural assimilation, identity, and belonging in today’s fluid cultural landscape. Drawing inspiration from the everyday, I explore the nuances of human connection in my art.
